Hello everyone! Today, I am releasing a new utility software I developed called EZ Convert.
As someone who frequently works with media files, I wanted a tool that just works, without the clutter of complex interfaces, unlabeled buttons, or heavy installation processes. EZ Convert is a lightweight, portable Windows application designed to handle two very specific, common tasks quickly and efficiently, while being completely accessible with NVDA and JAWS.
What can EZ Convert do?

Extract Video to Audio: If you have a video file (like an MP4) and you only need the audio track, you can easily extract it. The app supports converting your video into MP3, WAV, FLAC, or AAC formats.

Audio & Image to Video (Slideshow Mode): If you have a podcast recording or a music track and want to upload it to YouTube, you'll need a video file. EZ Convert lets you pick your audio file and attach an image to it to create an MP4 video. Note: You can even select multiple images to create a slideshow. Just set how many seconds each image should appear, and the app will sync everything perfectly to the length of your audio.

- Fully Accessible UI: Built with standard Windows controls. Everything from selecting files to picking output formats is fully keyboard navigable. When reordering images in a slideshow using
Alt + Up/Down, NVDA will immediately announce the new order. - No Installation Required: The app is portable. Simply download the
.zipfile, extract it, and runEZ_Convert.exe.
